About MSSN

A shared structure for student success.

MSSN brings education, behavioral health, family stabilization, government, and community partners into a practical network focused on the whole student.

A program of REACH

The Maryland Student Support Network is a program created and administered by REACH Health & Wellness, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing. REACH serves as the legal entity responsible for MSSN agreements, operations, financial administration, and organizational accountability.

Why the network exists

Students often encounter challenges that cross the boundaries of schools, healthcare, family life, and community services. When those systems operate separately, families can face delays, repeated referrals, and unclear next steps.

MSSN creates a coordinated path. We help partners understand needs, align resources, establish reliable referral practices, and measure whether support is reaching students effectively.

How funding is administered

Grants, contracts, sponsorships, contributions, and other funding supporting MSSN are received and administered by REACH Health & Wellness, Inc. Funds designated for MSSN are tracked for their approved program purposes and managed in accordance with applicable agreements, budgets, reporting obligations, and legal requirements.

Contributions made to REACH Health & Wellness, Inc. in support of MSSN may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors should retain their acknowledgment and consult their tax adviser regarding their individual circumstances.
